May Teletherapist Spotlight Raquel Quint, MA CCC-SLP

 Raquel Quint, MA CCC-SLP

It is a pleasure to introduce our May Teletherapist spotlight, Raquel Quint. Raquel has been with Unlimited Teletherapy for six years.

1. Tell me all about yourself.

I live in Washington State near Olympia, Washington. I am married to my husband. We are expecting our first baby. I have a dog, and that sums that up.

2. How long have you been with Unlimited Teletherapy?

This is my sixth year with Unlimited Teletherapy. My prior experience includes private practice and Head Start, primarily just pediatrics.

3. What is your favorite part about working at Unlimited Teletherapy? What do you enjoy most?

I have enjoyed working from home and the flexibility. It’s been a very flexible job with my husband’s career path. He’s military, and we’ve made several moves across the country. The job consistency has just been lovely. That’s been my favorite part.

4. How did you get started in the industry?

I started out going into education and then wanted to specialize a little more with children or persons with communication needs. My undergraduate degree is in Elementary Education, and then I decided just to specialize a little bit further.

5. What does a workday look like for you?

I’m on Pacific Standard Time, so I am an hour behind, which has been challenging. I’m working earlier but getting off earlier too. I start my day at about 6:30- 7:00 a.m. MT, by logging into my computer. I start choosing activities for my students to go along with their goals, reviewing my schedule, starting my computer, and then getting going and seeing my students. I see anywhere from 12 to 17 students daily, but they are grouped. I have been really lucky to have an E-helper every day.

6. What, if anything, are you currently binge-watching? Or reading?

I am currently reading a series called Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas, and I am not watching any shows right now.

7. What’s one thing on your bucket list?

I would love to go to Spain. I think that would be an amazing place to travel.

Raquel is one of many of our Teletherapists at Unlimited Teletherapy that is passionate, nurturing, and committed to supporting students to meet their individual goals. We are honored to have her on our team!
